Receptionist Job Summary

The Receptionist / Office Manager serves as the first point of contact for Kaspar Outdoors while ensuring efficient day-to-day office operations. This Receptionist / Office Manager role blends front-desk professionalism with administrative coordination to support leadership, employees, and visitors.

Receptionist Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and answer incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy
  • Manage calendars, meetings, and general administrative support for leadership
  • Maintain office supplies, vendor relationships, and facility organization
  • Coordinate mail distribution, shipping, and internal communications
  • Support basic HR and onboarding documentation processes
  • Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical)
  • Assist with company events and employee engagement activities
  • All other duties as assigned by management

Receptionist Skills and Competencies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism
  • Positive attitude with a customer-service mindset
  • Discretion when handling confidential information

Receptionist Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of receptionist, office management, or administrative experience
  • Experience supporting leadership or multi-department teams preferred

Receptionist Work Environment

This role operates primarily in a professional office setting with occasional interaction in light manufacturing areas.

Receptionist Physical Requirements

  • Extended periods of sitting and computer use
  • Occasional walking between office and production areas
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
