The Junior BIM Technician will support the production of rebar and structural drawings for Switzerland infrastructure projects, including retaining structures, protective galleries/underpasses, and other civil works. The role includes assisting senior staff, managing allocated tasks efficiently, and applying strong foundational CAD/BIM skills—especially in bridge and infrastructure design. The candidate will be trained in Allplan and will work closely with engineers to produce accurate, standards‑compliant drawings.
Produce rebar and structural drawings using WSP CAD/BIM standards, templates, and libraries.
Assist with project setup activities such as drawing formats, numbering systems, and workflow preparation.
Coordinate with Project Engineers to receive necessary inputs, raise queries, and ensure drawings meet accuracy and buildability requirements.
Support document control activities, maintain correct registers, and work in alignment with WoW and filing structures.
Assist in developing and updating CAD/BIM templates, libraries, and standard details.
Review engineering sketches to identify missing information or basic inconsistencies and support RFI preparation.
Learn and work in Allplan while documenting skill development across all CAD/BIM platforms.
Collaborate and share knowledge with GCC teams and support WSP India CAD/BIM forums as required.
Ensure all outputs follow QA, CDM, archiving guidelines, and quality procedures.

Mandatory Skills
Diploma in Civil Engineering with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, CadsRC, RCD, or similar CAD/BIM tools.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and take guidance from senior team members.
Good communication skills, cultural awareness, and a willingness to learn and upskill.
Prior experience in infrastructure or structural drawing production is preferred.
Desired Skills
Competence in T & I Structures – CadsRC/Concrete /AutoCAD/Civil3D
Minimum Diploma in Civil with 3+ years of relevant experience.
It is desirable that the candidate has obtained professional registration such as EngTech with ICE, UK or close to attaining the same.
