The Junior BIM Technician will support the production of detailed CAD and BIM drawings for tunnel and road infrastructure projects, including tunnel linings, cross‑passages, drainage layouts, retaining structures, and roadway geometry. The role involves assisting senior technicians and engineers, managing assigned tasks effectively, and applying strong skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and REVIT. The candidate will work closely with the design team to deliver accurate, standards‑compliant outputs for international projects.
Produce 2D and 3D drawings for tunnels, roads, and associated civil structures using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Support project setup tasks such as drawing formats, numbering, model organization, and workflow preparation.
Assist in preparing tunnel and road details including sections, layouts, profiles, and basic reinforcement detailing.
Coordinate with Senior CAD/BIM Technicians and Project Engineers to receive inputs, raise queries, and ensure drawing accuracy.
Follow document control procedures, maintain registers, and ensure adherence to WoW and project filing structures.
Assist in maintaining CAD/BIM templates, libraries, standard details, and discipline‑specific components.
Review engineering sketches for missing or unclear information and support RFI preparation.
Develop skills in Civil 3D and maintain working knowledge of Revit to support multidisciplinary coordination.
Contribute to knowledge sharing with GCC team members and support CAD/BIM forums as required.
Ensure all work follows QA, CDM, and archiving procedures.

Mandatory Skills
Diploma in Civil Engineering with 3–5 years of relevant drafting/BIM experience.
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Basic working knowledge of REVIT for coordination tasks.
Ability to work under the guidance of senior staff and manage assigned tasks independently.
Good communication skills, willingness to learn, and adaptability in a multidisciplinary environment.
Experience in road, tunnel, highway, or general infrastructure projects is an advantage.
Desired Skills
Competence in T & I Civils – Concrete /AutoCAD/Civil3D
Minimum Diploma in Civil with 3+ years of relevant experience.
It is desirable that the candidate has obtained professional registration such as EngTech with ICE, UK or close to attaining the same.
