Job Title: Industrial Electrical Journeyman
We are seeking skilled and experienced Industrial Electrical Journeymen to join our team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in industrial environments such as manufacturing plants, processing facilities, and energy or utility projects. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and controls in industrial facilities
Run and terminate conduit, wire, and cable systems according to blueprints and specifications
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical diagrams
Perform motor and control wiring, including VFDs, PLC panels, and MCCs
Test electrical systems and components using appropriate tools to identify hazards, defects, or required adjustments
Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies
Work independently or collaboratively under the direction of a foreman or superintendent
Support and mentor apprentices while promoting a strong safety culture
Qualifications
Valid state-issued Journeyman Electrician License
Minimum of 4+ years of industrial electrical experience
Strong understanding of industrial power distribution, motor controls, and automation systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Preferred Experience
Experience in manufacturing, water/wastewater, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environments
Familiarity with medium-voltage systems (up to 15kV)
Experience with industrial instrumentation and control systems
