As an international paramedic relocating to Canada and joining Medavie, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality medical care to Canadians and their communities. As a valued member of the Medavie team, you will be responsible for providing advanced pre-hospital emergency medical care to patients in need. Your duties will include responding to medical emergencies, cardiac events, trauma cases, and other life-threatening situations.

Required Documents for Application: 

  • Copy of passport 

  • Copy of driver’s license and driving record 

  • Copy of registered license with local paramedicine regulatory authority (experienced and graduate paramedics) 

  • Copy of your paramedic education (certification and transcript) 

  • OR a letter of enrolment from the university of students currently enrolled in a paramedic program 

  • Medical endorsements certification (if available) 

Employer Questions:

  • Are you registered with a council or governing body that regulates paramedicine in your country? 

  • Please provide a copy of your valid passport. 

  • Do you have a Driver’s License? If “yes”, please upload a copy of your Driver’s License and your full Driver’s License Abstract showing the last 5 years record. 

  • Do you have a degree in Emergency Medical Care or Paramedicine?  

  • Have you completed any medical endorsement certification in the past year?

Pay Range:

The Base Pay range may vary depending on the successful candidate or other relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and education/training. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Medavie employees may participate in various performance-based incentive programs. Payments under these programs are discretionary and subject to both individual and organizational results.
