Head Girls Basketball Coach/Teacher

Head Basketball Coach- 2nd Sport will be best fit,Teaching Field TBD (ELAR,Science, Social Studies, Math, or SPED) Grades 7-12

Hamlin Collegiate ISD is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the position of Head Girls Basketball Coach at Hamlin Collegiate High School. The District pays well above above state base, $ Head coaching stipend, $ Retention stipend. District pays $449 towards employee healthcare premiums. Hamlin Collegiate is a TIA District, and works a 4-day school week Hybrid Calendar. The District would consider a retire/rehire to fill this position.

POSITION SUMMARY:     

Reports to the High School Principal and Athletic Director

Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior

Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.  

Provide instruction and coach students to develop skills and ability to excel in sport assigned. 

Contribute to education program as a whole and to growth of students involved in athletics.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:     

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Valid Texas teaching certificate for categories listed

CDL/Passenger, School Bus endorsements
