EXTRA CURRICULAR POSITIONS - ATHLETICS 2025 - 2026 SCHOOL YEAR

 Coaching Position

 

The following extracurricular position is available in the district for the 2025 - 2026 school year.  All candidates must be available to conduct practice from March 9, 2026 up to and no later than June 12 , 2026 and possess all current AED/CPR/First Aid and coaching certifications. Candidate must be available by 2:00 pm each scheduled day.

    Spring                             Boys Tennis               Head Coach



Job Summary:

The Boys Tennis – Head Coach is responsible for various aspects of the tennis program, such as recruiting within the school, attending all practices and games, supervising athletes, training, coaching team members and all other duties assigned by the athletic director. The Boys Tennis - Head Coach is required to abide by all NJSIAA rules and regulations as well as the rules and regulations set by the Pittsgrove School District and Schalick High School.



Minimum Qualifications:

2 years of experience coaching (preferred) or experience playing at the college or high school level

Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills.

Must possess knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport.

Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, teachers and student athletes

Must possess 60 college credits or a Substitute Teaching Certificate
