Regis Jesuit High School is seeking a passionate and energetic Head Boys Volleyball Coach. This is a Spring Season sport. Stipend begins at $5200.

We are seeking a faith-driven coach who embodies the Jesuit values of Cura Personalis (care for the whole person), Magis (striving for excellence), and service rooted in love and justice. The ideal candidate is an energetic leader and relationship-builder who is passionate about developing young men both on and off the court while continuing to build upon the strong foundation established within the Regis Jesuit Boys Volleyball program.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of the Regis Jesuit Boys Volleyball program in alignment with the school’s Jesuit mission and values.
  • Foster a positive, competitive, and student-centered program culture rooted in character, accountability, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct effective practices focused on individual skill development, team systems, and competitive preparation.
  • Manage game preparation, strategy, and in-game coaching for varsity competition.
  • Recruit, develop, and support assistant coaches while promoting alignment and collaboration across all levels of the program.
  • Communicate clearly, consistently, and professionally with student-athletes, families, assistant coaches, and the Athletic Department.
  • Encourage and support student-athletes in balancing academic, athletic, spiritual, and personal commitments.
  • Uphold and enforce school, league, and Colorado High School Activities Association policies and expectations.
  • Assist with scheduling, equipment management, uniforms, transportation coordination, and other program logistics.
  • Build meaningful relationships with student-athletes and create an environment where players feel known, valued, challenged, and supported.
  • Engage in offseason planning, player development, and program growth initiatives to ensure long-term sustainability and success.
  • Serve as a positive ambassador for Regis Jesuit Athletics within the school community and the broader volleyball community.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous head or assistant coaching experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level (volleyball preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain a mission-driven, student-centered athletic program.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, relational, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to the holistic formation of student-athletes athletically, academically, spiritually, and personally.
  • Ability to mentor assistant coaches and collaborate effectively within a coaching staff.
  • Knowledge of CHSAA rules, regulations, and the Colorado boys volleyball landscape.
  • Passion for growing the sport of boys volleyball and continuing to build enthusiasm and participation within the program.
  • Ability to connect with and develop student-athletes of varying skill and experience levels.
  • A belief that coaching is a vocation centered on mentorship, formation, and leadership.
  • Willingness to engage positively with parents, alumni, and the broader school community.
This is a stipend position tied to the spring athletics season at Regis Jesuit High School.
