Allied Health

Allied Health at Cabrini is a dynamic and rapidly expanding service comprising twelve professional disciplines. Our integrated team provides a broad range of opportunities, including senior consultant and leadership roles, work within specialised clinical streams, and a structured rotation and support program for junior staff.

What the role involves

An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic Grade 1 Physiotherapist to join our Outpatient Services team in a full-time, 6-month fixed-term position. In this role, you will deliver evidence-based, contemporary physiotherapy care to community-based patients presenting with a variety of conditions, including post-joint surgery rehabilitation, persistent pain, general reconditioning, and neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease.

You will provide both individual and group-based physiotherapy programs, as well as facilitate interactive patient education and hydrotherapy sessions. Working closely with the broader multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to delivering holistic, patient-centred care.

We are committed to supporting your professional growth, offering regular supervision from senior physiotherapists, along with access to study leave and a professional development allowance.

This role is primarily based at Cabrini Elsternwick, with opportunities to gain experience across other Cabrini sites and physiotherapy services, including inpatient rehabilitation and acute care.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a Grade 1 Physiotherapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and who aligns with Cabrini’s mission and values.

You will have:

  • A Physiotherapy degree and current AHPRA registration (new graduates are encouraged to apply)

  • Experience in outpatient rehabilitation services

  • Knowledge and experience in assessing and managing patients with complex needs

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary environment

  • The ability to motivate, influence and engage patients in their rehabilitation

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and perform effectively in a busy clinical environment
