Engineering Technician

Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) is currently accepting applications for a Engineering Technician position. Applications will be screened after the following filing deadlines at 5PM:

Positions in the Engineering Technician Series may perform a combination of duties requiring performance of a variety of engineering technician skills such as drawing, drafting, calculation, basic design, survey, plan review, map review, construction administration, contract compliance, condition compliance, fee and permit determination, and administrative support duties.   Allocation of a position to a particular option within these broad classes is determined by an assessment of the primary and controlling scope of duties and responsibilities usually associated with the position.

Either: 1. One year of full-time experience in the class of Engineering Aide.

Or: 2. One year of sub-professional engineering experience preferably involving public works facilities or structures work.
