Essential Responsibilities:
Collaborate in cross-functional environment of; Systems, Instrumentation & Controls, and Human Factors Engineering to successful deployment, implementation, and lifecycle stewardship of the multi-organization and multi-geographic SAE environment.
Perform integration tasks within SAE by merging individual models from all disciplines into the overall SAE environment.
Assist in maintaining a singular master plant simulation model in SAE environment while ensuring requirements and configuration management are updated and baselined as necessary.
Develop and edit system models in an integrated simulation environment.
Develop and run scenarios for single systems, collections of interrelated systems, or entire power plant for: startup, shutdown, and maneuvering throughout all modes of plant operations.
Collaborate with simulation software supplier to prepare plans, procedures, and reports then perform factory acceptance test (FAT) and site acceptance test (SAT) for simulator, Discrepancy Reports (DR), enhancement requests, technical oversight issues, and training needs.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Systems, Software, Computer Science or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or equivalent 4-year technical degree.
4 years of experience in simulation using modern physics, mathematics, and software-based modeling tools for design, analysis, or training involving nuclear reactor thermal hydraulics, plant process fluidic and mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, monitoring systems.
2 years of plant experience in an operating nuclear power plant.
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of common computer languages (C#, C++, etc.) and software development tools (Version control, IDE’s, Debuggers, etc.).
Experience in software development.
Master of Science in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Systems, Software, Computer Science or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
Experience developing high fidelity engineering simulator or FSS integrated with a DCS platform either via virtual controller or emulation.
Knowledge of ANSI/ANS-3.5-2009 Nuclear Power Plant simulators for use in operator training and examination
Knowledge of REG GUIDE 1.149 Nuclear Power Plant Simulation Facilities for use in operator training, License examination and applicant experience requirements.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $79,400.00 and $137,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
