Position Overview
Seeking a seasoned Corporate Pilot and CFI/CFII to operate and instruct in a 2023 Cirrus SR22T. This role includes PIC duties, Private and Instrument instruction, weekly ground school, Bahamas operations, and aircraft oversight.
Ideal for an experienced, career-established aviator — not for time-builders pursuing the airlines. Long-term mentorship mindset required.
Expected Activity
- ~200 flight hours per year
- 25–40 Bahamas trips annually
- 1–2 weekly ground sessions (Bradenton)
- ~10 hours per week average
- 24-hour availability required
- Must reside in Sarasota/Bradenton area
Responsibilities
- Provide flight and ground instruction (Private & Instrument)
- Serve as PIC for training and international flights
- Coordinate customs and paperwork
- Monitor weather and ensure conservative decision-making
- Oversee maintenance and aircraft readiness
- Maintain documentation and certifications
Qualifications
Required:
- Commercial Pilot Certificate
- Current CFI & CFII
- Valid Medical & Passport
- Strong IFR proficiency
- Clean FAA record
Preferred:
- 2,500+ Total Time
- High-performance single-engine experience
- Cirrus experience
- Retired airline or corporate background
