A well-established leader in the transport refrigeration sector is seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join their Field Service team. This role offers exposure to advanced cooling systems used in commercial transport fleets.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Fault finding and diagnostics on transport refrigeration units
  • Installation and commissioning of equipment
  • Planned maintenance and breakdown repairs
  • Overhauls and upgrades of refrigeration systems
  • Conducting site visits and performance inspections
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Providing professional customer service on-site
  • You will represent the business in the field and play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Qualified Auto Electrician
  • 2-5 years post-trade experience
  • Experience working on commercial vehicles or fleet maintenance
  • Strong diagnostic ability
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Exposure to refrigeration systems or auto electrical systems will be advantageous — but training will be provided.
