The Holyoke Public Schools athletic program is an important part of the total educational program. The program is designed to provide activities consistent with the students’ maturation and development. Emphasis is placed on sportsmanship, respect for others, teamwork and safety.
The athletic program is governed by rules and regulations established cooperatively by principals, athletic directors, and coaches. The rules must be adhered to so that young men and women receive the maximum benefits from athletic participation. Participation in the athletic program is privilege and student – athletes should be positive behavioral example for others at all times
