Duchesne High School is looking for an Assistant Varsity Boys Basketball Coach. The Assistant Varsity Boys Basketball Coach supports the mission of Duchesna High School by helping develop student-athletes in both skill and character, in accordance with the values of Catholic education. This position assists the Head Coach in overseeing all aspects of the boys basketball program, promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship in a Christ-centered environment.
The following are the anticipated duties for the position of varsity assistant coach:
Previous coaching or playing experience in basketball at the high school, club, or collegiate level preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively with the Head Coach, Athletic Director, and school administration.
Commitment to the mission and philosophy of Catholic education and willingness to model Gospel values.
Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
Must pass a background check and complete Safe Environment / VIRTUS training as required by the Diocese.
