We're currently hiring 2 Apprentice Pipefitters for a 3-month position with the potential to last longer in Whitecourt, AB. Enjoy a varying schedule, local only, and benefits after 300 hours worked.

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in previous or relevant oilfield construction/maintenance preferred.
• Valid Apprentice Steamfitter-Pipefitter certificate/ticket.
• Previous experience with basic rigging, slings, shackles, and tag lines is an asset.
• Ability to safely perform shop fabrication, assembly, and field support tasks under direct supervision. 
• Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
  • H2S Alive
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Fall Protection
  • Standard First Aid
  • Rigging & Lifting Awareness
  • Overhead Crane (if applicable)
• Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
• Must have own reliable transportation to site.
• Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits.

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
