26-27 SY High School Assistant Football Coach

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Coach with planning and conducting daily practices, workouts, and team meetings.

• Instruct student-athletes in football fundamentals, techniques, and strategies.

• Support the supervision and safety of student-athletes during practices, games, travel, and team activities.

• Help monitor academic progress and promote positive behavior and sportsmanship among student-athletes.

• Assist with game preparation, including scouting, film review, and equipment organization.

• Maintain positive communication with players, parents, and school staff.

• Support program goals by helping build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and school pride.

• Assist with equipment inventory, field setup, and other operational needs of the program.

• Ensure compliance with all school district policies and Missouri State High School Activities Association rules and regulations.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach or Athletic Director.
