VertiGIS builds cloud-based, configurable software that extends and enhances Esri's ArcGIS platform, helping organisations visualise, analyse and manage assets through location data. Its products address practical operational problems: water utilities shutting off services more efficiently, telecoms companies documenting their networks, and cities managing infrastructure. The technical domains involved include geospatial and GIS engineering, location data analytics, spatial asset management, data visualisation and utility and network documentation.

The company employs more than 600 people across 23 offices worldwide and serves customers in 50 countries. The team is predominantly drawn from technical or geospatial backgrounds and includes developers, consultants and support specialists working in a global, distributed arrangement.
