Unifique

Unifique is Southern Brazil's largest independent fiber optic operator, offering broadband, mobile, fixed telephony and pay TV, plus data center, cloud, cybersecurity and telemedicine services.

Unifique is the largest independent fiber optic telecommunications operator in Southern Brazil. Founded in 1997 in Timbó, Santa Catarina, by Fabiano Busnardo as TPA (Timbó Provedor de Acesso), a dial-up internet provider with a single employee, the company now provides broadband internet, mobile, fixed telephony, pay TV and related technology services across 71 cities, reaching more than 1.7 million people. It went public on the stock exchange in 2021.

The company's fixed business is built on more than 38,500 km of installed optical fiber. It was the first Brazilian company to deploy XGS-PON access technology, offering speeds of up to 2 Gbps, and counted over 816,000 broadband customers as of June 2025. Anatel has rated it the best fixed broadband in southern Brazil for six consecutive years and the best fixed telephony in Brazil for five. Mobile services followed Unifique's success in Anatel's 5G frequency auction in 2021, operating in Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, with 5G coverage beginning in November 2023 and 170,000 mobile customers by June 2025.

Beyond connectivity, the portfolio extends to Tier III certified data center services, cloud services, cybersecurity solutions, telemedicine platforms, smart home technology and financial and investment services. The stated mission is to simplify and unify people's lives through technology.
