Superlinked

Superlinked builds an open-source AI inference stack that serves task-specific open models for search, extraction, classification and other workloads, deployed from laptops to private clusters.

Superlinked is an infrastructure company founded in 2021 and headquartered in San Francisco. It builds an open-source AI inference stack designed to serve task-specific open models, an approach intended to cut the cost, latency and infrastructure complexity that arise when AI agents repeatedly call general-purpose frontier models.

Its principal product, the Superlinked Inference Engine (SIE), serves models across ten workloads: search, reranking, document processing, extraction, classification, safety, image understanding, audio transcription, chat and generation. The engine shares GPUs across multiple model types and can be deployed on a local laptop or on private clusters. A hosted alternative, the SIE Serverless API, exposes the same models and lets teams select against measured quality targets.

Around the engine sits a broader open-source stack: a model gateway, autoscaling and monitoring, SDKs in Python and TypeScript, an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, Helm charts and Terraform deployments for major cloud providers. The tooling supports both cloud and Kubernetes environments, and self-hosted deployments for firms that prefer to keep workloads within their own infrastructure.

The company's work spans model serving and inference infrastructure, GPU optimisation, information retrieval, MLOps and AI safety. Its customers are drawn largely from software teams, machine learning and platform engineering groups, and enterprise software vendors.
