Riverside is an AI-powered content creation platform that allows creators and businesses to record conversations, podcasts and video at studio quality from anywhere in the world. Founded in 2020 by brothers Gideon and Nadav Keyson, the company runs a single platform whose features include AI-powered recording, real-time rendering and intelligent editing. It serves users across podcasting, video production, media and entertainment, and enterprise media.
The product is used by thousands of creators and businesses; named enterprise customers include Netflix, Disney, Microsoft and Spotify. The company describes itself as product-first and user-centred, moving according to users' needs. Its engineering work spans artificial intelligence, media processing, distributed systems and real-time rendering, with a stated preference for practical solutions over overengineering and for turning research into usable tools.
Riverside's backers include Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of Reddit, Oren Zeev and a number of influential creators. Its team works with modern web technologies on problems in distributed systems and media processing, combining technical work with an understanding of the content creation process.
