Figma

Figma provides a collaborative interface design platform where teams design, prototype and ship products in real time, across browser and desktop applications.

Figma builds a collaborative interface design platform that lets teams design, prototype and ship products together in real time, in browsers and on desktop applications. Founded in 2012 and employing between 1,001 and 5,000 people, the company went public in 2025. Its platform is used by more than 4 million people, and more than 100 million files have been created on it.

The product suite comprises Figma Design, the core collaborative interface design tool; Dev Mode, which handles developer handoff; Figma Make, the platform's AI-powered features; and FigJam, a complementary whiteboarding product for brainstorming and collaboration. Technical work spans collaborative design tooling, real-time collaboration, prototyping, developer handoff and browser-based and desktop application development, with an emphasis on keeping designers and developers on a single source of truth across an organisation.

Figma serves customers ranging from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 companies across product design, software development and the technology sector more broadly. The company describes its mission as making design accessible to all, and its workflows are intended to run from brainstorming through prototype to final product.
