Exodigo, founded in 2021, builds non-intrusive subsurface imaging technology that produces complete, accurate 3D maps of what lies underground. The platform combines multi-sensor fusion, 3D imaging and AI to locate pipes, cables, soil layers, rocks, minerals and groundwater without excavation or exploratory drilling - functioning, in the company's description, like running an MRI, CT scan and ultrasound at once and merging the results into a single source of truth. The company reports that this approach finds 20-50% more underground utilities than traditional methods.

The problem the company addresses is substantial. The industry spends more than $100 billion a year on unnecessary excavation and exploratory drilling, part of what the firm describes as a trillion-dollar underground risk problem. Exodigo's technology is applied across utilities, transportation, construction, infrastructure and mining and minerals. In 2022, the platform was named one of TIME's Best Inventions.

Technical work at the company spans multi-sensor fusion, 3D imaging, AI, signal processing, subsurface imaging and geophysics. The team brings expertise from elite Israeli intelligence units. Exodigo has raised $214M in total funding and operates from Tel Aviv and the San Francisco Bay Area.
