Ent Security

Ent Security builds an intent-aware security platform extending endpoint security into real-time prevention across human and AI-driven work.

Ent Security builds an intent-aware security platform for the AI-native enterprise. Its approach extends endpoint security into a real-time layer of prevention, analysing human, AI and application activity to understand not only what users and AI agents do but why they do it. The aim is to let security teams intervene at the moment of risk rather than reconstruct events days afterwards.

The company's single product, the Ent Platform, reads human, AI and app activity in real time and is designed to detect insider risk, govern AI usage, prevent data loss, stop last-mile threats and support incident investigation with full behavioural context. Technical work spans behavioural analytics and context, real-time threat prevention, data loss prevention, AI agent activity monitoring and incident investigation.

Ent was founded to bring prevention back to cybersecurity after more than a decade in which the field has been dominated by reactive, detection-only approaches. Its founders, Elias Manousos and Brandon Dixon, previously co-founded RiskIQ, which was acquired by Microsoft, and were part of the team behind Microsoft Security Copilot. The company has raised $100m in seed funding from investors including Decibel, Sequoia, Crosspoint Capital and In-Q-Tel.

Headquartered in San Francisco, California, Ent is in production with Global 2000 customers across the hospitality, financial services and defence sectors.
