Digital Career Institute

Digital Career Institute (DCI) is an AZAV-certified educational provider based in Germany, founded in 2015 to give people access to digital careers regardless of their background, CV or formal education. What began as a small initiative during the refugee crisis now trains participants in technical and commercial digital professions, with more than 10,000 graduates to date and a team of over 100 instructors.

DCI runs practical vocational training programmes in web development, cloud computing (AWS and Microsoft), data engineering, SAP development, online marketing, digital sales, human resources, accounting and business automation. Courses are delivered live in digital classrooms by experienced instructors, entirely remote and with technology provided, and are designed around real job requirements from day one.

Programmes are 100% fundable through education vouchers (BGS) and activation vouchers (AVGS). The institute reports participants from more than 100 nationalities and operates exclusively in Germany. DCI was founded by Stephan Bayer, who also founded sofatutor, Germany's leading digital learning platform.
