Dataminr Romania S.R.L. is the Romanian entity of Dataminr, a company that builds an AI platform delivering the earliest actionable intelligence on breaking events, emerging threats and unexpected risks. The system processes more than one million unique public data sources, ingesting terabytes of data spanning text, images, video, audio and sensor signals across more than 150 languages and over 220 countries and territories. Its purpose is to shorten the interval between an event occurring and an organisation being able to respond to it.
The technical work spans several fields: predictive and generative AI, real-time event detection, multimodal data synthesis, natural language processing and large-scale data ingestion. Two products illustrate the range. ReGenAI combines predictive and generative AI to regenerate briefs automatically as events unfold. Intel Agents are autonomous agents that produce contextual information without prompts. The underlying platform is Dataminr's core product.
Customers include more than 100 U.S. government agencies, over 20 international governments, and much of the Fortune 50 and Fortune 100. Sectors served range from government, defence and corporate security to crisis management, emergency response and enterprise risk management. Operating contexts are described as running from the battlefield to the boardroom, and the work is characterised by time-critical decision-making.
