Founded in 1907, the company has a construction heritage stretching back more than 115 years; its early work included railroads, highways, dams and mining. It has concentrated on renewable energy since 1997. Blattner is a member of the Quanta Services family of companies.
The firm's work covers engineering, procurement and construction of utility-scale renewable energy infrastructure. It has built more than 450 renewable energy projects in 34 states, installing over 40m solar panels and more than 27,000 wind turbines in the process. Blattner states that it has been involved in more than 25% of America's total installed utility-scale solar, wind and energy storage capacity.
