Tech Bar Engineer

Are you passionate about technology and love helping people? We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Tech Bar Engineer to join our UK Technology team.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll be at the heart of our walk-up Tech Bar service—supporting associates face-to-face, solving problems in real time, and delivering an outstanding IT support experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acting as the first point of contact for walk-up IT support queries
• Diagnosing and resolving common technical issues on the spot (first-time fixes)
• Triaging and escalating more complex issues where needed
• Logging incidents and service requests accurately in the ITSM system
• Delivering a high level of customer service with a friendly, professional approach
• Guiding associates on basic troubleshooting and IT best practices
• Keeping the Tech Bar environment organised, efficient, and welcoming

You must be friendly and approachable and have a collaborative mindset. You should also have the following skills and experience:

• Strong working knowledge of Office M365, Windows 11, iOS, and Android platforms
• Experience in a 1st line support or service desk environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple walk-up queries
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) is a plus
• ITIL Foundation certification is desirable but not essential
