Lead and manage the Trigg County High School football program in a manner that promotes the academic, athletic, and personal growth of student-athletes.
Plan, organize, and supervise all aspects of the football program, including practices, games, off-season activities, and feeder-program collaboration as approved.
Teach football fundamentals, position techniques, team schemes, and game strategies appropriate to students' age and skill levels.
Promote and model sportsmanship, self-control, integrity, and respect for opponents, officials, and all participants.
Implement team rules, academic expectations, and behavior standards that align with school and district policies.
Collaborate with the Athletic Director to ensure all student-athletes meet eligibility requirements.
Maintain a safe environment by teaching proper techniques, supervising students, and following safety guidelines for equipment, heat, weather, and conditioning.
Work with athletic trainers and/or designated staff on injury prevention, recognition, reporting, and return-to-play protocols.
Provide appropriate supervision of student-athletes at all times.
Support student-athletes' academic progress by reinforcing school expectations and communicating with teachers and counselors as appropriate.
Organize and maintain equipment, uniforms, and supplies; recommend purchases consistent with district procedures and safety standards.
Develop and mentor assistant coaches, ensuring alignment with program philosophy and district policies.
Utilize technology appropriately for communication, film review, scouting, and program organization.
Adhere to the professional code of ethics, including confidentiality, appropriate boundaries, and mandated reporting.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
Follow district financial procedures and Redbook guidelines for any school activity funds, fundraising, and booster-supported purchases connected to the cheer program.
Perform related duties as assigned by the Athletic Director and/or Principal.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
For Certified Applicants:
Valid Kentucky teaching certification.
For Classified/Paraprofessional Applicants:
High school diploma or G.E.D.
For All Coaches:
Criminal records check as specified by Kentucky law.
Meet health requirements per district policy.
Completion of all district- and KHSAA-required trainings (CPR/First Aid, heat illness, concussion, child abuse/neglect, bullying/hazing, suicide prevention, and other mandated trainings) within required timelines.
Prior experience as a head football coach or coordinator is preferred.
