Job Description: Strength and Conditioning Coach
Reports To: Athletic Director
Stipend Rate: $2,500/Season Stipend (3 Total Seasons)
Fall (August-November)
Winter (December-March)
Spring/Summer (April-July)
Job Overview:
The Strength and Conditioning Coach will be responsible for overseeing the programming and organization of all weight training and fitness programs. This includes, but is not limited to, writing gender, sport and season specific weight training programs for students grades 7-12. Providing supervision and proper instruction to all students in the fitness center. Reporting equipment needs, damage, suggesting upgrades and maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the fitness facility to the Athletic Director. Reporting and consulting with coaches about their specific program needs. Opening and closing the facility potentially before and after school starts.
Position will be broken down seasonally and consist of three (3) different openings
Fall (August-November), Winter (December-March) & Spring/Summer (April-July)

Qualifications:
High School Diploma (Bachelors Preferred)
3+ years of experience in the coaching or fitness field
Intimate knowledge of weight program design and weight-lifting techniques
Certifications or degrees in strength and conditioning or related fields
Or ability to obtain certification(s)
The ability to show and perform lifting techniques
Availability after 2:55 pm until 6:00 P.M. (Monday-Thursday) and potentially before school hours as well (i.e. 6:00 A.M.). This schedule can be modified to meet student needs and availability.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintain a clean and safe space for exercise in the fitness center
Actively train our student athletes in form and technique
Teach Students and Coaches alike the “Why” and importance of the S&C workouts
Develop and implement gender & season specific workouts for all athletic teams
Hold workouts before school and after school hours on days/dates agreed upon by the Coach, Athletic Director and Building Administration
Adhere to all school policies and safety requirements
Provide feedback to the Athletic Director with any Fitness Center maintenance and/or equipment wants and needs
Coordinate & communicate with all coaches daily/weekly to create lifting schedules that are advantageous to their in/out of season schedules
Track weight room progressions for/with student athletes to help create the most efficient workout routines
Will be responsible for overseeing the programming and organization of all weight training and fitness programs
Coordinate public relations within the district to encourage students to utilize the weight room facility
