Role
The Sr. Director, Site Leader (Engineering) is responsible for representing and leading Verint’s Noida engineering site while owning the engineering execution of the Calabrio Workforce Management (WFM) product line. As Site Leader, you will serve as the face of the Noida office – championing employee engagement, driving site culture, and coordinating cross-functionally to create a world-class engineering workplace. As Engineering Leader, you will own the technical vision and delivery of the WFM product roadmap, leading a geographically distributed team of approximately 100 employees and contractors across India and Sweden. This role reports to the VP of Engineering, Calabrio Business Unit.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
- Serve as Site Leader for Verint’s Noida engineering office, representing the site in leadership forums and serving as the face of the location for employees, candidates, and partners.
- Champion employee engagement, retention, and a culture of inclusion, transparency, and accountability across the Noida site.
- Partner cross-functionally with HR, IT, and Facilities to ensure the Noida office operates as a world-class engineering workplace.
- Build a robust local talent pipeline and recruit world-class engineering talent in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
- Own the technical vision and engineering execution for the Calabrio WFM product line, driving the team to deliver high-quality, scalable, cloud-native software.
- Lead a geographically distributed engineering organization spanning India and Sweden, enabling effective collaboration across time zones through strong async communication practices and an inclusive team culture.
- Manage a blended workforce of employees and contractors, establishing clear performance expectations and vendor accountability frameworks.
- Work effectively with Product Managers and Product Owners to ensure delivery against agreed roadmap priorities.
- Champion engineering excellence practices, tools, and patterns across the WFM product organization.
- Define and own engineering KPIs – including delivery velocity, quality metrics, and technical debt reduction – and drive transparent reporting and accountability at all levels.
- Promote continuous innovation, continuous learning, and a culture of technical excellence.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 15+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in senior engineering leadership roles.
- Experience leading and developing geographically distributed teams across multiple countries, time zones, and cultures.
- Experience managing large blended workforce organizations (employees and contractors), including vendor governance and performance frameworks.
- Hands-on knowledge of coding best practices, architecture, cloud-first development, DevOps practices, and software security.
- Deep insight into current technologies and trends, including experience developing B2B or Cloud SaaS software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex plans and designs.

- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities with a focus on accountability and data-driven execution.

Preferred Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Prior experience as a site leader or office lead, with a track record of building strong local engineering culture while aligning to a global organization.
- Familiarity with workforce management (WFM), contact center, or customer engagement software.
- Experience building and launching Enterprise SaaS products or AI applications, or working with engineering teams in Europe.
