Senior Project Engineer

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team at Beenleigh and play a key role in delivering major projects across the Water sector.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing engineering solutions to effectively deliver your assigned discipline or project component. You will work closely with Design Leads, Project Managers, Commissioning Leads, and multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful engineering delivery from design through to construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering and technical delivery of M&E project components.
• Coordinate closely with Design Leads, Project Managers, and Commissioning teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Oversee shop drawing development, design support, and detailed engineering documentation.
• Provide technical guidance during project delivery, including construction and commissioning phases.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet project requirements, quality standards, and timelines.

• Contribute to the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects across the power, water, and renewable energy sectors.

   

What we are looking for 

• 10+ years’ project engineering experience within the water industry 
• Experience managing subcontractors
• Demonstrated ability in financial management and reporting, including budgeting
• Experience in driving quality outcomes in project delivery
• Clear and concise communication skills 
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external parties (Alliance teams, stakeholders etc)
• Sound computer skills
