Sydney | Melbourne | Hybrid Work Model | Competitive base + super + benefits
We are not your typical network team. We are technically sharp, delivery focused and trusted by some of Australia's biggest brands, and we are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to lead the migration from legacy WAN environments to Cisco SD WAN across a diverse enterprise client base. This is not a maintenance role. You will own architecture decisions, drive complex deployments end to end, and serve as the escalation point for the most challenging network problems your team encounters.
We’re an Australian success story, now close to 500 people strong, delivering secure, end-to-end digital solutions across cloud, collaboration, cyber security, data services and network infrastructure, all backed by over 20 years of experience. Trusted by some of Australia’s biggest brands, Orro leads the way in designing, building and operating digital infrastructure that delivers greater efficiency, agility, performance and resilience. Our solutions take the stress out of tech for more than 400 businesses and over 20 million Australians every single day.
Our mission? To create “future now” solutions making it faster, simpler and safer for people to access, store and share information, wherever they are and whoever they’re with. But more than that, we know that real impact comes from connecting people, not just machines. That’s why we take the time to understand our clients; how they work, what matters to them, and where they’re headed so we can deliver not just what they need today, but what they’ll need next.
With offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane and Perth, and teams across New Zealand, the Philippines and the UK, Orro is known for delivering future-ready solutions, backed by deep expertise, genuine human insight and lasting partnerships.
This is a technical leadership role within our Cisco and Meraki practice, responsible for the architecture, design and operational health of enterprise WAN and LAN environments for Orro's client base. You will lead complex SD WAN migrations from design through to delivery, working across a portfolio of clients that span industries and network scales. You will be a key voice in shaping the long term technology direction of the practice.

Act as the primary escalation point for complex outages, driving resolution and sharing knowledge across the team
Mentor junior engineers, contributing to the technical development of the broader network practice
Develop network automation capabilities and contribute to the long term technology roadmap
The Essentials
7 or more years in enterprise network engineering, with at least 3 years specifically focused on SD WAN design and implementation
Advanced proficiency in Cisco IOS XE, NX OS and Viptela SD WAN architectures
Deep working knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and Segment Routing
