DescriptionWhat’s the Role:
The Senior IAM Engineer provides specialist technical leadership across complex IAM programs, translating application and enterprise architecture into end‑to‑end, enterprise‑grade IAM solutions. The role is accountable for leading design and implementation activities, guiding delivery teams through complex integrations, and ensuring IAM solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned to strategic architecture standards.
This capability is essential to enable the successful delivery of strategic IAM outcomes, reduce delivery risk across major transformation initiatives, and ensure the organisation realises tangible value from its IAM investments
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑scale IAM solutions across complex transformation programs.
- Translate solution and application architecture into secure, scalable end‑to‑end IAM designs.
- Provide hands‑on technical leadership across the IAM lifecycle, from design through implementation and operations.
- Deliver SailPoint IdentityIQ integrations across a broad application landscape, including REST API and SCIM‑based provisioning.
- Ensure IAM solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security principles, and target‑state roadmaps.
- Proactively manage IAM‑related technical risks and contribute to architecture governance and design assurance forums.
- Partner with delivery teams, architects, and security stakeholders to uplift IAM capability and drive consistent practices.
What do I need?
- Strong experience delivering enterprise IAM solutions in large‑scale, complex environments.
- Hands‑on expertise with SailPoint IdentityIQ, including connector development.
- Proven experience designing and implementing REST API and SCIM‑based IAM integrations.
- Solid understanding of identity lifecycle management, access governance, and provisioning patterns.
- Ability to translate enterprise architecture into practical, implementable IAM solutions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with demonstrated technical leadership capability.
- Desirable experience with enterprise access management platforms such as Ping Identity, IBM Security Verify Access, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
