Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Now, we’re looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Ground & Underground team — someone who’s ready to lead, mentor and push technical boundaries.

What you’ll do

You’ll play a key role in delivering technically complex, high-impact projects while helping grow the capability of those around you.

In this role, you will:

• Lead geotechnical design across feasibility, concept and detailed phases
• Apply advanced analysis using tools like PLAXIS, GeoStudio, Rocscience and more
• Work across diverse environments — in-office, remote and embedded with clients
• Contribute to winning work through proposals and client engagement
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, building team capability
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, practical outcomes
• Occasional attendance on site to support project delivery

What you’ll bring

You’re technically strong, commercially aware and passionate about continuous learning.

We’re looking for:

• 10+ years’ geotechnical engineering experience
• CPEng and current RPEQ status
• Strong experience with FE modelling and geotechnical software
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality designs and reports
• Confidence engaging with clients and stakeholders
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for mentoring
• Involvement in industry bodies such as AGS (desirable)
