About the Role

As a Program Leader - Lifeguard, you help keep the waterfront safe and fun for campers. You guard the swimming area, support and lead daily activities, and help camp run smoothly outside of swim times. This role is active, steady, and a big part of the camp experience.

You will spend your summer outdoors, working with a supportive team, meeting new people, and helping campers feel confident and safe in the water.

What You Will Do

  • Guard the swim area and watch for safety concerns.

  • Enforce rules and respond when help is needed.

  • Set up and clean up the waterfront each day.

  • Lead camp activities when the swimming hole is closed.

  • Assist with camp-wide programs, events, and weekly changeover tasks.

  • Keep equipment clean, organized, and ready to use.

Your work helps campers feel safe, included, and excited to be at the water every day.

Who We Are Looking For

  • 18 or older.

  • Strong swimmer with comfort in moving, natural bodies of water.

  • Lifeguard certified or ability to get certified.

  • Comfortable enforcing rules in a kind, clear way.

  • Stays calm and focused in emergency situations.

  • Works well with a team and enjoys helping others.

  • Someone dependable who shows up on time and works hard.
