At Habit Health, our purpose is simple: to support people in their communities to optimise their health and live their best life. We walk alongside clients on both physical and mental health journeys — helping them restore movement, build confidence, and get back to the activities that matter most.
We’re growing, and we’d love to welcome a Junior Physiotherapist or New Graduate to our supportive multidisciplinary team in Upper Hutt, Wellington.
Start Your Physio Career with Confidence
If you’re early in your career, this is the kind of role that sets you up for success. You’ll have the opportunity to build strong foundations in musculoskeletal and community rehabilitation, while being supported every step of the way by experienced clinicians and clinical leaders.
You’ll manage your own caseload, develop your clinical reasoning skills, and gain exposure to a wide range of conditions — all within a team that genuinely enjoys mentoring and celebrating progress.
What Your Days Could Look Like
With support and guidance, you will:
- Assess, treat and rehabilitate clients using evidence-based physiotherapy techniques
- Work with a mix of clinic-based and community clients
- Deliver services within ACC and contractual timeframes
- Use “Heidi”, our AI note-taking assistant, to streamline documentation and reduce admin time
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, OTs, psychologists and other health professionals to deliver holistic care
- Build confidence communicating with clients, whānau, funders and stakeholders
- Participate in case discussions and team learning sessions
- You’ll never be “thrown in the deep end” — you’ll be supported to grow into the role.
- Track your clinical outcomes and productivity, setting personal performance goals with the support of your Manager
What We’re Looking For
- NZ-recognised Physiotherapy qualification
- Current registration (or eligibility) with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand (PBNZ)
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Strong communication skills and a client-centred approach
- Confidence working independently, with support when you need it
- Full NZ driver’s licence
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is motivated, curious, and passionate about making a difference.
