Parks and Groundskeeper - Public Works Technician

Position Overview The Groundskeeper (Public Works) performs routine landscaping and maintenance tasks within public works facilities to ensure clean, safe, and functional outdoor spaces. Key Responsibilities - Mow, trim, edge, and maintain turf areas and public spaces. - Perform basic landscaping, planting, and irrigation repairs. - Assist with minor repairs to grounds-related infrastructure. - Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition. - Follow safety and environmental standards in daily work. Qualifications - High school diploma or GED required. - Experience in groundskeeping or landscaping preferred but not required. - Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment. - Physical ability to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. - Valid driver’s license required.
