Mechanical Development Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Development Engineer Consultant to support the development of innovative drivetrain solutions, hybrid transmissions, and Electric Drive Units (EDU).

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical components and subsystems from concept to product launch.
• Prepare and review technical requirements.
• Support development activities through calculations, simulations, and testing
• Contribute to DFMEA and risk assessment activities.
• Participate in design for manufacturing and design for assembly discussions.
• Work closely with suppliers and component manufacturers during development
• Support validation activities, data analysis, and test reporting
• Collaborate with quality, industrialization, and purchasing teams.
• Resolve technical issues during development and testing.
• Manage engineering changes and technical updates.
• Prepare clear technical reports for management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering
• Experience in mechanical component or system development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on and pragmatic engineering mindset
• Interest in innovative mobility and drivetrain technologies
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Fluent in English, knowledge of French/Spanish is a strong plus.
