We are looking for a Mechanical Development Engineer Consultant to support the development of innovative drivetrain solutions, hybrid transmissions, and Electric Drive Units (EDU).
Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical components and subsystems from concept to product launch.
- Prepare and review technical requirements.
- Support development activities through calculations, simulations, and testing
- Contribute to DFMEA and risk assessment activities.
- Participate in design for manufacturing and design for assembly discussions.
- Work closely with suppliers and component manufacturers during development
- Support validation activities, data analysis, and test reporting
- Collaborate with quality, industrialization, and purchasing teams.
- Resolve technical issues during development and testing.
- Manage engineering changes and technical updates.
- Prepare clear technical reports for management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering
- Experience in mechanical component or system development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on and pragmatic engineering mindset
- Interest in innovative mobility and drivetrain technologies
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Fluent in English, knowledge of French/Spanish is a strong plus.
