Are you passionate about designing innovative mechanical systems for next-generation mobility solutions?
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to the design of advanced driveline components and systems for hybrid and full electric performance vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Own mechanical designs from concept phase to production-ready release
- Create 3D concept models for components and complete systems.
- Develop detailed 3D models with dimensions and tolerances for analysis and manufacturing.
- Prepare and review 2D drawings and technical documentation.
- Ensure system integrity with focus on clearances, model quality, manufacturability, assembly feasibility, and interface compatibility.
- Collaborate with development, analysis, quality, industrialization, and supplier teams.
- Participate in design reviews and implement design updates when needed.
- Support issue resolution identified during analysis, testing, and assembly phases.
- Contribute to benchmarking activities, cost and weight reduction initiatives, and new concept development.
- Continuously improve design methods, tools, and knowledge of manufacturing technologies
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering
- Strong CAD and mechanical design skills
- Experience in mechanical component or system development
- Good understanding of design for manufacturing and design for assembly principles
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch/Spanish is a strong plus.
