About this Role

Par Western Line Contractors is seeking a licensed Texas Master Electrician to serve as our Master Electrician of Record (MEOR). This role is required to obtain and maintain our Texas Electrical Contractor License and to ensure compliance with all applicable state and local electrical regulations.

The MEOR will provide high-level oversight for electrical work associated primarily with high-voltage substation and transmission construction projects and strong technical expertise, leadership experience, and the ability to manage both field operations and project execution across multiple project types.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the official Master Electrician of Record (MEOR) for Par Western Line Contractors in Texas in accordance with TDLR requirements.
  • Qualify the company for and maintain the Texas Electrical Contractor License (TDLR)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in both service and construction environments
  • Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications
  • Conduct inspections and maintain high standards of workmanship and job site safety
  • Ensure all electrical work performed under the license complies with:
    • Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) requirements
    • National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Provide oversight of electrical scopes including:
    • High-voltage substation construction
    • Below-grade conduit, duct banks, and grounding systems
    • Installation of electrical equipment (breakers, switches, relays, panels, etc.)
    • Control and low-voltage cabling between substation equipment and control systems
    • Testing & commissioning- Apparatus equipment testing, relay equipment testing, functional testing.
  • Support compliance reviews, audits, and inspections as required
  • Be available for consultation with project teams and leadership regarding electrical compliance
  • Maintain active license in good standing, including continuing education requirements

What You'll Bring

  • Active Texas Master Electrician License (required, in good standing).
  • Meets all requirements to qualify as electrical contractor in Texas.
  • Minimum 5+ years of industrial electrical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, industrial power distribution, and controls wiring and high and low voltage systems.
  • Eligible and willing to serve as a Master Electrician of Record (MEOR) for a Texas Electrical Contractor.
  • Experience with industrial, utility, or substation electrical construction
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (voltmeters, ohmmeters, etc.)
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multi-state electrical operations.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with relay systems, control wiring, and commissioning.
  • Prior experience serving as a MEOR/Electrician of Record.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

What You'll Get

Pay- $   80,000    - $ 105,000     /Annually *Depending on Experience
