What You'll Be Doing:
Under direct supervision of Head Lifeguards, Aquatics Specialists and/or Aquatics Coordinator, the Lifeguard position is responsible for patron surveillance and safety including general maintenance, cleaning and inspection of equipment in the Aquatics area of the Carbon Valley Recreation Center.

Physical Demands, Job Location, and Equipment:
Equipment Use: Regular use of office equipment (computer, copier, scanner, printer, phones), software (Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Word, Excel, CivicPlus, Paylocity), and operational tools (first aid supplies, chemical testing kits, pumps/motors, safety devices, and PPE).
Physical and Sensory Requirements: Moderate physical activity, including walking, sitting, standing, stooping, bending, reaching, swimming, climbing ladders, and lifting/carrying/exerting up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity and hearing are required for reading documents, operating equipment, answering phones, and effective communication.
Environmental Conditions: Exposure to varying temperatures, weather, odors, noise, dust, chemicals, and confined spaces.
