About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Fullstack Engineer who is excited about building real product features end-to-end and eager to grow in modern web development within RIVO, our flagship platform. 

This is not an internship, we’re looking for someone with solid foundations in TypeScript, Node.js, and ReactJS, who is motivated to deepen their skills in production-grade systems. 

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to design and build features across the stack, from UI and API design, through data modeling, to performance and reliability improvements.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend components using ReactJS.
• Build backend services and APIs using Node.js + TypeScript. 
• Work with MongoDB for data modeling, queries, and performance improvements.
• Integrate frontend and backend flows end-to-end (auth, data fetching, state management, etc.).
• Implement modules from technical design to delivery including error handling, logging, and monitoring.
• Contribute to code quality: clean code, reviews, refactoring, and testing.
• Support performance improvements across the UI and API layers.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to deliver user-facing features.

Knowledge and Experience 

• Recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field from a leading university, with an average grade of 90 or higher.
• Knowledge of or experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, React).
• Familiarity with databases, including SQL and NoSQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of software testing and quality assurance practices.
• Prior experience with software development projects or internships.
