Head Coach | Full-Time | $40,000 - $60,000 base salary plus commission and performance bonuses | On-Site | Bloomingdale, IL | Schedule: Full-time, evenings and weekends required
We are looking for a high-energy Head Coach who is equal parts elite coach, team leader, and community builder. This role is for someone who can deliver a world-class training experience while actively helping grow the business through community involvement, relationship building, and athlete retention.
You will coach athletes of all ages and abilities while setting the standard for culture, professionalism, and performance inside the facility
Key Responsibilities
Coaching & Leadership
Coach group classes, small groups, and 1 on 1 sessions for athletes ages 7 to adult
Deliver high-quality strength and conditioning programs focused on performance, safety, and long-term development
Lead and mentor coaching staff to uphold consistent, world-class standards
Create an energetic, motivating, and professional training environment
Program Execution
Implement and modify strength and conditioning programs based on athlete needs and goals
Ensure proper technique, injury prevention, and athlete progression
Track athlete development and adjust programming as needed
Community, Sales & Retention
Actively engage in community outreach including schools, sports teams, and local events
Build strong relationships with athletes, parents, and coaches
Support membership growth through referrals, athlete retention, and brand representation
Be a visible leader who helps drive facility growth and reputation
Qualifications
Active CSCS certification (NSCA)
Minimum 3 to 5 years of strength and conditioning or sports performance coaching experience
Experience coaching athletes across multiple age groups
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Willingness to work evenings and weekends
Preferred
Background as a competitive athlete
Experience mentoring or leading other coaches
Comfort supporting sales conversations and client retention
Community outreach or relationship based growth experience
