There is currently 1 permanent part time (0.8 WTE) Senior Primary Care Paediatric Physiotherapy vacancy.

The successful candidate will be required to work across 2 bases in the Wexford (CHN10) and New Ross (CHN8) Community Healthcare Networks (Wexford Primary Care Centre and New Ross Health Centre) on set days, which may need to change, as dictated by service demand.

This campaign is to fill the initial vacancy only and a panel will not be formed.

Purpose of the Post

· To be responsible for the provision of a high quality paediatric Physiotherapy service in accordance with standards of professional practice. The caseload will consist of both non-complex and complex children under the age of 18 with a range of diagnoses.

· To work in conjunction with other multidisciplinary team members in co-ordinating and developing the service to meet the needs of the population it serves, in line with the objectives of the organisation

· To work with the Physiotherapist Manager or designated person in ensuring the co-ordination, development and delivery of a quality, client centred physiotherapy service across and between networks in the geographical area.

· To carry out clinical and educational duties as required, including supervision of staff Physiotherapists and education and supervision of students.
