Engineering Coordinator

We’re looking for an Engineering Coordinator to join our Jandakot team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on collaboration, problem-solving and keeping projects moving safely and smoothly. 

What You’ll Do 

• Assess and provide feedback on third party civil and electrical designs around ATCO infrastructure.
• Provide practical technical advice and requirements to third parties working around ATCO infrastructure.
• Coordinate and prepare scopes of work, cost estimates, contracts and project plans. 
• Liaise , negotiate and build positive relationships with developers, engineering consultants, councils and homeowners to achieve safe and positive outcomes for ATCO. 

About You 

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within utilities, infrastructure or construction (highly desirable). 
• Diploma‑level qualification in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or experienced field supervisor/operative seeking a role in coordination, planning, or technical support (desirable).
• Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills. 
• Ability to interpret engineering scopes, plans and drawings. 
• Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced, high‑priority environment
• Capability to prepare clear project scope documentation and associated cost estimates in accordance with industry practice.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, civil works and safe excavation practices.
