With recurrent project wins and a strong pipeline of works, we are seeking a motivated Dam Engineer to join our team in Melbourne.

Our Dams team fosters a strong team culture focused on participation and inclusion. We empower our people to grow by working on exciting and complex projects that make a difference.

As part of our team, you will receive mentoring from industry-leading experts in geotechnical, structural, and dam design. You'll also have the chance to collaborate with colleagues from interstate and international offices, expanding your professional network.

How you’ll make a difference

• Work across analysis and conceptual to detailed design of water dams, retarding basins, service basins.
• Get involved in the inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams including review and surveillance of monitoring data
• Conduct safety reviews of existing dams, retarding basins and service basins
• Assist with construction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data and construction reporting.
• Support lasting relationships with our clients.

The qualities that help you thrive

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in engineering and design within a consultancy environment (dams experience highly regarded)
• Previous exposure to the preparation of design reports, design drawings and specifications.
• Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills 
• Well developed planning and organisational skills.
