Your New Role
Are you an Azure Cloud Engineer looking to deepen your engineering expertise towards security/cyber focused cloud engineering?
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Information Security Enablement, the Cloud Engineering Analyst is a hands-on role focused on building, improving and securing the Fund’s Azure cloud platforms using modern DevSecOps and Infrastructure as a Code.
This role applies risk aware security thinking to bridge security analysis with developing engineering skills, contributing to improved security posture, reduced risk, and continuous improvement through automation, data driven insights and collaboration with senior engineers and stakeholders. The role combines solid Azure Cloud Engineering versed in Terraform and Azure DevOps, with motivation to become a security engineer. You’ll work closely with platform owners to secure their applications and infrastructure.
You’ll be supported to learn, experiment and grow by contributing ideas, with a strong focus on automation, policy as code, identity and access management, and embedded security controls. If you’re curious, proactive and motivated by continuous improvement, this role offers a strong technical growth pathway.
What You’ll Do
Design and deliver technical solutions aligned with engineering standards, security principles, and architectural guidelines
Implement and optimise monitoring, observability, and operational tooling to improve platform reliability, performance, and resilience
Develop and maintain reusable engineering patterns, IaC modules, DevOps policies, and platform standards
Apply cloud security engineering principles across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS, working closely with engineers, architects, and security specialists to embed security by default
Configure, integrate, and operationalise Microsoft security tools to uplift security prevention, detection, and response capabilities
