Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of Azure AD B2C / Entra External ID solutions, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Design, configure, and implement customer identity and access management (CIAM) solutions using Azure AD B2C
Develop and manage user journeys, custom policies, and identity flows for authentication and authorization scenarios
Configure and manage integrations with external identity providers (e.g., social IDPs, SAML, OIDC, OAuth2)
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and application teams to define identity requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Establish and maintain identity governance, security controls, and compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards
Implement secure authentication mechanisms including MFA, conditional access, and passwordless strategies
Troubleshoot and resolve identity-related issues across authentication, federation, and user lifecycle management
Support DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for identity solution deployment and configuration management
Provide technical guidance and best practices for identity architecture, scalability, and performance optimisation
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM/CIAM), with strong focus on Azure AD B2C / Entra External ID
Hands-on experience designing and implementing custom policies, user flows, and identity journeys in Azure AD B2C
Strong understanding of authentication protocols including OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML
Experience integrating Azure AD B2C with web, mobile, and API-based applications
Proficiency in configuring federation with external identity providers (social and enterprise IDPs)
Experience implementing MFA, conditional access, and identity security controls
Strong understanding of RBAC, identity lifecycle management, and access governance principles
Experience working in Agile, DevOps, or hybrid delivery environments
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, ARM/Bicep templates, or infrastructure-as-code for Azure deployments
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex identity and authentication issues
Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to work across cross-functional teams
Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Azure Security Engineer, Identity certifications, or equivalent IAM certifications)
Mandatory Requirements
Candidate must be an Australian Citizen preferrably with Security Clearance - Baseline, NV1, NV2 etc due to the sentitivy of the data on the customer site.
