Electrician
Description
- Accurately diagnose faults found on vehicles.
- Assist with mechanical repairs.
- Carry out required repairs correctly to ensure vehicles do not return with the same faults.
- Report additional faults to Group Leader/Team Leader found in the protocol.
- Ensure assembly safety and security procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Work accurately and timeously to achieve both efficiency and productivity to the required standards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Grade: 12 Matric Certificate.
- N3 with a trade test certificate as an Auto Electrician.
Skills:
- Good communication (oral and written) & interpersonal relations skills.
- EC or EC1 drivers licence.
- Work independently though being a team player.
- Pro-active, highly motivated and pay attention to detail.
- Customer focused with a results driven approach.
- Must be willing to work on standby.
Experience:
- Trade Certificate experience in the heavy commercial vehicle industry - 5 years.
- MAN and / or VW heavy commercial vehicles - 1 year.
